What did you do before working at Make-A-Wish Georgia?
I graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in Literature, Media, and Communication and have been working at Make-A-Wish Georgia ever since. I interned with Make-A-Wish Georgia twice during college and just knew it was where I wanted to end up full-time.
What's your favorite part of the job?
When families come home from their wishes and tell me that they didn’t think about their child’s medical condition once throughout the week, or that they hadn’t seen their child as happy as they were on their trip in months. I love knowing that we provide experiences that allow families to experience hope, strength, and joy together and that allow the wish child to really just be a kid.
What would your wish be?
To dance with Val as a contestant on Dancing with the Stars and to bring home the Mirrorball Trophy.
