Vice President of Marketing & Communications
What did you do before working at Make-A-Wish Georgia?
I’ve had the honor of working in the nonprofit sector since 2007. Before this, I was the Senior Director of Development for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. I loved working for a community that is so close to finding a cure.
What's your favorite part of the job?
There are so many things I love about this job. I joke that this is the type of work that I would do for free if I ever won the lottery. I feel honored that I have the opportunity to share the story of our wish families and that they allow me into their homes and into their lives with such openness and vulnerability.
This work also allows me to see the very best of our community—from supporters to volunteers, everyone is vested for all the right reasons. It’s extremely special.
What would your wish be?
For those that know me, it’s no secret that I wish to be a unicorn; the most beautiful creature in the world.
