Senior Director of Wish Granting
What did you do before working at Make-A-Wish Georgia?
Before working at Make-A-Wish Georgia, I was in college at Reinhardt University. I completed my college internship at Make-A-Wish and have been here as a staff member ever since.
What's your favorite part of the job?
My favorite part of my job is working with wish parents to help them understand how impactful it is for their child to have the opportunity to choose their wish! It’s so common for parents to want to have a hand in this process. But we want to represent the child’s most heartfelt dreams. Sometimes parents need to be encouraged to let their child take this step on their own. And once they do, the wish process becomes really fun for the entire family. I enjoy having the opportunity to lead a family through this process.
What would your wish be?
My wish would be to visit Seattle and stay on a house boat for the week! I have always thought it would be so fun to vacation like this. Seattle is a city that I have always wanted to visit because I enjoy cities where you can walk around easily. I love the rain!
