Dylan wanted to go somewhere that he had always dreamed of visiting: Hawaii!
In his free time, Dylan can often be found playing Minecraft with friends, enjoying a vanilla Frosty®, listening to “The Wanted” or watching his favorite show, ‘Spongebob Squarepants.’ Despite a genetic disorder that has led to kidney surgery, a host of medications and a lifetime of medical visits, Dylan remains an adventurous and curious 10-year-old who loves dolphins and has always been interested in volcanoes. Therefore, when offered a wish by Make-A-Wish® Georgia, Dylan wanted to go somewhere that he had always dreamed of visiting: Hawaii! After a special lei greeting ceremony at the airport, Dylan and his family enjoyed an authentic luau celebration, explored Volcanoes National Park, experienced a helicopter flight over the Pacific, and even received surf lessons from Hawaiian lifeguards! During their free time, Dylan and his family loved exploring the white sand beaches and crystal clear waters. Ultimately, the trip was absolutely everything Dylan had hoped for: unlimited adventure, a unique culture, family bonding time and memories to last a lifetime!
