Karma is an energetic, outgoing and vibrant little girl who loves Disney princesses. After having a bone marrow transplant at the young age of 5, she was in need of something to lift her spirits.
“She was so excited to hear that her wish to go to Disney and meet her favorite characters was coming true,” said Karma's mother.
Living with Neuroblastoma
Karma doesn’t let anything dull her sparkle, not even the stage 4 neuroblastoma that she has been battling. Neuroblastoma is a cancer often found in the small glands on top of the kidneys. It can develop in the belly, chest, neck, pelvis and bones.
Trying to find the right treatment at the right hospital can be exhausting for a family. Disney World was the perfect place for the Little family to unwind and get a chance to forget about cancer, even if only for a short time.

A Wish Come True
On the day that Karma, her mother, brother and father arrived at Disney World, Give Kids the World was having a Halloween party where Karma got to kick off her trip with games and trick or treating. The next day, Karma's family hit the ground running; riding rides and meeting as many princesses as they could.
Throughout their trip, Karma and her family went to all four Disney parks, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and SeaWorld. They had a busy week! But that’s not all they did. They also got to meet tons of characters, ride loads of rides and spend crucial family time together.
“We couldn’t stop smiling the entire week,” said Karma’s mother.
The Power of a Wish
There is nothing like the power of a wish to lift the spirits of children battling life threatening conditions. Having time away from hospitals, needles and doctors with concerned looks on their faces can add a bunch of courage to a young person’s life.
Karma got home from her trip with a new sense of hope, strength and joy that will carry her through the duration of her battle.
