Wish Process Coordinator
What did you do before working at Make-A-Wish® Georgia?
I graduated from Auburn University (War Eagle!) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in Child Life. During my time at Auburn, I had the opportunity to give back to the local community and complete internships with Keeping Family Connections and Lee County CASA. These organizations provide supportive services/visitation to non-custodial parents and children who have been abused, neglected, or victims of violence, and advocate for a child’s best interest in their own court process. I loved building relationships with each child and family I interacted with and having the ability to apply my learned knowledge to a real-life setting!
What's your favorite part of the job?
I love seeing how a child’s wish is a reflection of the child’s imagination and youthful spirit!
What would your wish be?
My wish would be to see the Northern Lights in either Alaska or Iceland!
