Endurance Event Coordinator
What did you do before working at Make-A-Wish® Georgia?
I graduated from Georgia Southern University with a degree in Business Management and an emphasis in Nonprofit Management. I was the Director of Philanthropy for my sorority, Chi Omega, whose national philanthropy is Make-A-Wish! With my cousin being a wish kid, I had some previous knowledge about the organization, but it wasn’t until I was working hand-in-hand with Make-A-Wish Georgia that I came to understand how impactful the power of a wish truly can be. After graduation, I actually interned at Make-A-Wish Georgia for the summer before going to work for the Muscular Dystrophy Association as one of their Fundraising Coordinators.
What's your favorite part of the job?
The fact that I get to spend every day working next to the most influential people who share the same passion as I do to help these incredible kiddos live out their dreams.
What would your wish be?
To meet the cast of The Lion King on Broadway! (I cry every time I see them perform.)
