Referring to Make-A-Wish Georgia
To the world, we are known as "Make-A-Wish Georgia."
We believe that presenting the Make-A-Wish Georgia brand consistently across all mediums and platforms will transform the lives of even more children and families.
Here are some guides to help you tell our story.
- To the public we are Make-A-Wish® Georgia. We ask that you please use our name as such (including hyphens, capital A, plus the registered mark on the first and/or most prominent reference to our name.) We utilize the name Make-A-Wish® Foundation in legal documentation only.
- Did you know? Make-A-Wish stopped granting wishes solely to "terminally ill" children in 1983, and Make-A-Wish completely removed the word "terminal" from our lexicon in 1999. Many wish kids go on to beat the odds and live a fulfilling life. We believe a wish experience is an important part of the healing process. Please refrain from using the terms "terminal", "last wish" or "dying wish" when referring to a wish or wish kid.
