Emma Conquers Disney World

Emma Anderson

“ Emma was literally treated like a princess the whole time, and it was more than worth it. ”

- Emma's mom

Taking the World by Storm

Six-year-old Emma is vibrantly active and refuses to give up. The upcoming first grader’s favorite subject is math and she loves writing in her journal.

Stuffed animals are the way to her heart and she is proud to be a member of her local swim team.

Emma was born with congenital heart disease. She has undergone three open heart surgeries, but is currently in good health and continues to excel at everything she sets her heart to!

What Dreams Are Made Of

Like every little girl her age, Emma loves Disney princesses. However, Emma had never gone to Disney World before her wish. So Make-A-Wish Georgia strived to make the little princess’s adventure the trip of a lifetime. When Emma learned she’d be going to Disney World, she couldn’t contain her excitement!

During her stay, Emma got to meet every Disney princess during exclusive meet and greet sessions at breakfast and lunch. She even danced with Prince Charming! Emma loved seeing fireworks for the first time at the Magic Kingdom during the Electric Parade.

The Power of a Wish

“There were tears in my eyes during the whole trip,” said Emma’s mom. “Emma was literally treated like a princess the whole time, and it was more than worth it.”

After her trip, Emma plans on going back to Disney World someday. She recently had her one year checkup from surgery and doctors reported that everything looks great. With a healthy diagnosis, Emma continues to take the world by storm!
